ROLE OVERVIEW
We are seeking an experienced VP of Technology to lead software development and product management for a key business unit within our organization. This person will play a critical role in advancing our AI data labeling services, overseeing both product and engineering functions. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience managing global, cross-functional teams with a proven track record of successful product and technology leadership.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
· Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute a technology roadmap in alignment with company goals, focusing on innovation, efficiency, and quality in AI data labeling services.
· Team Management: Lead and inspire a team of product managers, engineers, and technical leaders across global locations, including onshore and offshore teams.
· Collaboration: Partner closely with other business unit leaders and cross-functional partners to align technology initiatives with business needs.
· Product Development: Oversee product management for new and existing AI data labeling products, ensuring alignment with market trends, client demands, and technological advancements.
· Operational Excellence: Establish and refine processes that promote agility, innovation, and operational efficiency within development and product teams.
· Technical Expertise: Serve as a technology advisor, staying current with AI and data labeling advancements to guide strategy and innovation.
QUALIFICATIONS
· Experience: 10+ years in technology leadership roles, with at least 5 years managing either product or development organizations.
· Industry Knowledge: Background in AI technology, data labeling, or data annotation services is highly preferred.
· Global Management: Proven ability to lead global teams, including both onshore and offshore team members.
· Technical Proficiency: In-depth understanding of software development processes, data management, and cloud-based infrastructures.
· Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
PREFERRED SKILLS
· AI and Machine Learning Expertise: Knowledge of machine learning model training, data labeling workflows, and related technologies.
· Agile Methodologies: Proficiency in agile development processes and frameworks.
· Client-Facing Skills: Ability to work effectively with large enterprise clients to understand and meet their evolving needs.
