Department Overview

Focusing on the RapidDeploy product line leading cloud-native platform for public safety. We provide Next Generation 911 solutions that deliver intelligent information throughout the emergency response journey, empowering agencies and first responders to drive better outcomes in mission-critical situations. With a curated partner network, our platform combines mobile signals, critical datasets, and call information into a single operating system, improving emergency response with location accuracy, situational awareness, modern communications, and actionable insights. Job Description

We are seeking a talented Senior UX Designer to join our dynamic team and lead the creation of exceptional user experiences. In this role, you will play a key part in defining and enhancing our
digital products by applying user-centered design principles, data-driven decision-making, and a keen eye for aesthetics. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product
managers, developers, and researchers, to craft seamless and intuitive user journeys. A commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and a thirst for elegant code is a must.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead UX design projects from concept to completion, ensuring high-quality user experiences.

  • Conduct user research, usability testing, and data analysis to inform design decisions.

  • Develop wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mock-ups to effectively communicate design ideas.

  • Collaborate with product managers and developers to align user needs with business goals.

  • Advocate for user-cantered design principles across the organization.

  • Define and refine design processes, best practices, and UX guidelines.

  • Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and UX methodologies.

  • Mentor and guide junior designers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in UX/UI Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Graphic Design, or a related field.

  • 5+ years of experience in UX design, with a strong portfolio showcasing impactful projects.

  • Proficiency in industry-standard design tools (Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, Axure, etc.).

  • Strong understanding of UX research methods, usability principles, and accessibility standards.

  • Experience with user testing, A/B testing, and analytics tools.

  • Familiarity with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus.

  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.

  • Ability to work in an agile environment and adapt to changing priorities.

  • Experience with AI/machine learning technologies is strongly preferred.

Target Base Salary Range

$75,000.00 - $150,000.00

Consistent with Motorola Solutions values and applicable law, we provide the following information to promote pay transparency and equity. Pay within this range varies and depends on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The actual offer will be based on the individual candidate.


Basic Requirements

Bachelor's or Master’s degree with 5+ years of experience in UX design with a strong portfolio showcasing impactful projects.

Legal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely is required. Employer work permit sponsorship is not available for this position.
