About the Role
As a member of Nuro’s Technical Recruiting team, you will hunt, court, and close technical talent with diverse skill sets spanning across Machine Learning, AI, and Robotics. You will partner closely with engineering leaders across our Robotics software stack to help us achieve our ambitious hiring goals.
About the Work
Manage the full-cycle technical recruiting process. You'll own top-of-funnel strategy, drive searches, and run point on offers and closing candidates.
Partner with leaders across our teams on talent strategy, contributing your expertise on the engineering market, planning interview best practices, and building an effective recruiting process to ensure we obtain and attract world-class diverse talent
Use analytics and data to drive change and influence hiring decisions
Be diligent in holding to our high hiring bar and in seeking out the right fit for both Nuro and job seekers we interview from a skillset and cultural perspective
Partner with the recruiting and sourcing team to build active pipeline, implement, and adopt new and existing programs, tools, workflows to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of our processes
Help manage and improve remote recruiting best practices during these unique times. Later on help scale Nuro from our HQ in Mountain View, CA.
About You
You are a hunter, skilled at creatively sourcing and interesting highly coveted, passive engineering talent without relying on databases, external platforms, or job boards
You are experienced and have a minimum of 2-3 years experience working in-house at one or more hyper growth technology companies, ideally a start-up
You are discerning and thrive in environments with a stratospheric hiring bar from both a functional/skillset and culture perspective
You are an engaging people person with strong communication skills and the nature ability to quickly build rapport and trust
You are a hustler. You are self-motivated and adept at prioritizing and driving multiple concurrent searches simultaneously
You are intellectually curious with the ability to grasp new technical concepts quickly and converse credibly with engineering experts
You have integrity and a strong work ethic
You have a passion for hard-tech and ideally an interest in robotics
Bonus Points
Experience recruiting for machine learning and/or robotics engineers
Building and supporting diversity and inclusion initiatives
Experience with Greenhouse ATS
At Nuro, your base pay is one part of your total compensation package. For this position, the reasonably expected pay range is between $95,050 and $141,550/year for the level at which this job has been scoped. Your base pay will depend on several factors, including your experience, qualifications, education, location, and skills. In the event that you are considered for a different level, a higher or lower pay range would apply. This position is also eligible for an annual performance bonus, equity, and a competitive benefits package.
