Overview

We are seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager to lead a high-impact data architecture initiative based out of Atlanta. This role will focus on managing two critical workstreams: a Discovery & Assessment phase and the delivery of Strategic Recommendations to modernize and future-proof our data ecosystem.

You will work cross-functionally with data engineers, architects, business stakeholders, and executive leadership to assess the current state, identify gaps, and define the path forward.

Job Responsibilities

Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of discovery and assessment efforts related to data pipelines, observability, governance, metadata practices, data ownership, and tooling.

Facilitate stakeholder interviews and workshops with executive and technical teams to capture requirements and surface insights.

Manage timelines and deliverables across a phased 18-week roadmap, ensuring high-quality and timely outcomes.

Collaborate with data and analytics teams to assess readiness for Agentic BI and future-state enablement.

Support the development and presentation of strategic recommendations and architecture blueprints.

Coordinate the creation of frameworks, guidelines, and best practices for modern data platforms.

Ensure clear documentation and communication across all phases of the project.

Basic Qualifications

4+ years of experience managing technical or data-focused projects, preferably within enterprise environments.

Strong understanding of modern data infrastructure, governance models, and data engineering principles.

Proven ability to manage cross-functional stakeholders across both business and technical domains.

Exceptional organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Experience delivering complex strategic assessments with tangible outputs.

Familiarity with Agentic BI, data product thinking, and data mesh concepts is a plus.
