Strategy and Growth Operator

San Francisco or New York

About Distyl

Distyl partners with the Global Fortune 1000 to lead $100M+ transformations through AI-native automation of core operations. Backed by Lightspeed, Khosla, and Coatue, we operate like a special ops team: fast, outcome-driven, and focused on solving high-stakes enterprise challenges. Our team blends elite talent from tech, strategy, and government to build the future of AI-powered enterprise operations.

About the Role

We’re hiring a Strategy & Growth Operator to help drive AI transformation across our most important client relationships. In this role, you’ll work alongside senior executives to identify growth opportunities, shape strategic initiatives, and lead day-to-day client and partner engagement. You’ll need to be polished, proactive, and highly credible with enterprise stakeholders.

This is a critical connector role, ideal for someone who is both strategic and hands-on, capable of earning trust with executives while rolling up their sleeves to deliver tangible impact. You’ll lead meaningful projects, own key relationships, and play a central part in accelerating Distyl’s growth.

What You’ll Do

  • Team Enablement: Partner closely with the Strategy & Growth Executive team to ensure they are fully prepared for external engagements, including owning briefing documents, providing research support, and coordinating efforts

  • Relationship Management: Own and grow relationships with VP-level and senior stakeholders across Fortune 1000 organizations

  • Pipeline Management: Track and maintain high-value strategic opportunities, monitor deal progress, and identify and address risks or roadblocks

  • Executive Coordination: Facilitate and optimize executive-level meetings and follow-ups, including scheduling, preparation of materials, and tracking of next steps.

  • Project Management: Drive execution on critical strategic projects, ensuring alignment across internal teams

  • Process Optimization: Develop scalable tools, templates, and workflows that streamline how the team operates and collaborates.

Who You Are

  • Experienced: 4+ years in high-performance environments such as consulting, enterprise strategy, Chief of Staff, or operations; startup, VC, or government transformation experience is a plus

  • Strategically sharp: You grasp the big picture and ask the right questions to get there faster

  • Exceptionally organized: You are proactive and detail-oriented with strong follow-through.

  • Strong communicator: You can distill complexity, write clearly, and design compelling narratives and you are comfortable interacting with executive stakeholders

  • Self-directed: You thrive in ambiguous environments and make things happen with limited oversight

  • Mission-driven: You care deeply about solving real problems and want to build something that lasts

Why Join Us?

  • Shape Transformation: Help steer some of the largest and most impactful AI initiatives in enterprise history

  • Learn by Doing: Operate alongside former Palantir, Apple, and government leaders on real challenges with real stakes

  • Build What’s Next: Help define new models of AI-native work for the world’s most influential companies

  • Be Part of a Mission: Join a values-driven, high-trust culture where outcomes and ownership come first
