About The Role
Are you passionate about shaping the future of AI-driven hardware and software? HP IQ is embarking on a transformative journey to expand HP’s portfolio with cutting-edge, early-stage solutions, and we're looking for a dynamic Strategic Partnerships Lead to spearhead this charge.
As a key member of our pioneering team, you will work directly with senior leadership and collaborate across product, engineering, and sales. Your mission will be to forge high-impact alliances, co-developing and launching innovative AI solutions with strategic partners on a global scale. If you have experience in business development, a background in enterprise technology, a talent for closing complex deals, and a proven track record of execution, this is your opportunity to make a significant mark on the next chapter of HP, Inc.
What You Might Do
- Co-create Innovative Solutions with Key Partners: Dive deep to understand the strategic needs of our partners, then collaborate with them to define, develop, and champion AI hardware and software solutions that drive mutual value and market adoption.
- Influence Product & Platform Evolution: Act as a critical voice in shaping our product roadmap and platform strategy by identifying unique insights from partner engagements and translating them into actionable go-to-market plans.
- Execute Complex Partnerships: Lead the full lifecycle of strategic alliances, from identification and C-level engagement through to negotiating terms and closing high-impact, multifaceted deals.
- Drive Cross-Functional Execution: Masterfully navigate internal and external complexities, orchestrating collaboration between Product, Engineering, Legal, and other teams to ensure seamless partnership activation and long-term success.
Essential Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in Business Development, Strategic Partnerships, or a similar role, with a proven track record of closing deals.
- Proactive, self-starter mentality and an ability to execute in ambiguity.
- Strong experience in understanding partner requirements, developing tailored solutions, and selling those solutions into the market.
- Experience working with technical teams (Product, Engineering) and legal counsel to negotiate agreements with technical deliverables.
- Strong relationship-building skills at all levels, both internally and externally.
- Exceptional communication, sales, and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and concisely.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience negotiating with or for major enterprise technology companies.
- Complementary experience in product management.
- Industry experience in enterprise sales, consumer software, app store developer ecosystems, or telecommunications.
- Prior experience in the healthcare or retail industry.
Salary: $200,000- $253,000
Compensation & Benefits (Full-Time Employees)
The salary range for this role is listed above. Final salary offered is based upon multiple factors including individual job-related qualifications, education, experience, knowledge and skills.
