Sr. Applied Scientist, Amazon Stores Finance Science

We are seeking a Sr. Applied Scientist to propel Gen AI acceleration within Finance. This role will focus on leveraging large language models and other generative AI technologies to enhance decision-making processes, automate complex controllership processes, and improve operational efficiency in Stores Finance. Key job responsibilities
• Lead the research, design, and implementation of innovative AI solutions for Amazon Stores Finance
• Drive the technical vision for applying AI to transform critical areas across Financial Analysis, Forecasting, and Controllership
• Develop novel approaches to automate and enhance risk analysis processes using state-of-the-art language models
• Partner with business stakeholders to identify high-impact opportunities for AI-driven transformation
• Mentor and guide junior scientists while fostering a culture of innovation
• Design and implement evaluation frameworks to measure the impact of AI solutions
