Software Development Engineer, Devices Ad Products

The Device Ad Products team is hiring Software Development Engineers to help scale and evolve our ad platform for Amazon-owned devices like Fire Tablets, Fire TV, and Echo Show. We’re a lean team with startup energy, backed by Amazon’s infrastructure and resources—giving you the freedom to move fast and the support to build at scale.

What You’ll Do
You’ll be part of the core engineering team responsible for the systems that power ad delivery, performance optimization, and reporting across devices. These systems process hundreds of millions of events per day, and your work will directly impact latency, data quality, and platform reliability.
You’ll design, build, and operate services that:

* Optimize ad delivery in real time using data-driven logic (and increasingly, ML/AI models).
* Scale backend pipelines to handle high-throughput event ingestion and processing.
* Provide accurate and low-latency reporting to advertisers.
* Support experimentation and measurement at scale.

There are opportunities to work on systems for real-time bidding, targeting, and ad ranking—especially as we explore smarter optimizations for ad placement on-device.
