The Team

Group Risk Management (GRM) collaborates with businesses as a trusted advisor, facilitating well-informed decisions that support Nasdaq’s strategic objectives. GRM manages and continues to enhance the Enterprise Risk Management, Internal Control, Business Continuity, Crisis Management, and Corporate Insurance frameworks and programs. These programs facilitate the  identification, assessment, monitoring, and treatment and reporting of all types of risks, Nasdaq faces.

As Senior Specialist supporting the FinTech and FCMT divisions your responsibilities will include:

  • Working with ERM team members to implement the ERM Framework, including programs such as Risk and Control Self Assessments “RCSAs,” the Incident Reporting Program, Issues and Actions Tracking, to drive a risk aware culture across Nasdaq.
  • Facilitating risk assessments and assisting risk and control owners with the identification and assessment of key risks and mitigating controls in their business areas.
  • Conducting root cause analyses on identified incidents to recommend improvements.
  • Preparing reports to management, risk committees and other risk governance forums. 
  • Aggregating and analyzing ERM Program data to provide actionable information to management.
  • Providing guidance and / or training to the process and control owners on use of Nasdaq’s Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) database application (Nasdaq Risk Gateway).
  • Participating as a key user of the integrated GRC platform to ensure the system provides the appropriate level of support and efficiencies for the ERM program.
  • Effectively communicating with broader global Risk team and partnering with peers to ensure consistency of approach and awareness of issues, challenges, and opportunities.
  • Pro-actively engaging Internal Audit, SOX, Compliance, Information Security, Supplier Risk Management, Business Continuity and other assurance functions to support an integrated approach to risk management. 
  • Supporting compliance with the Nasdaq’s Business Continuity and Crisis Management Policy including assisting in the development of Business Continuity Plans and facilitating Crisis Management exercises.
  • Executing risk management training and promoting a pro-active risk culture.
  • Communicating risk objectives, framework, and policies to internal and external audiences as appropriate.

What we expect:

  • 3-5  years of experience in risk management, compliance, management consulting and / or audit in the financial services industry.
  • Conceptual and practical experience in operational risk management; technology risk management experience is a plus.
  • Experience in Data Products, Data Analytics, Corporate Solutions, Investment Bank, Asset Management or Financial Technology is a plus.
  • Prior experience with Governance, Risk, & Compliance (GRC) platforms (e.g. RSA ARCHER, BWise, OpenPages, LogicGate or other) is desirable.
  • Previous risk and control design or assessment experience.
  • Perform data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies. 
  • Excellent interpersonal and oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, investigative, and analytical skills including ability to effectively address issues in collaboration with others.
  • Ability to act proactively and work effectively across business units, functions.

What happens now?

This is a full-time permanent position located in Vilnius. Nasdaq offers a hybrid workplace to find a balance between working from home and collaborating in the office, therefore it's required to come into the office at least 2 days per week.

Monthly base salary 3300 – 3700 EUR gross. The final offer will be based on your experience and skills.

Our Vilnius office is in the modern K29 business center, easily accessed via bus, but we also offer bike storage. Our working space offers an appealing, ergonomic environment, kitchen spaces, and an in-house library.
