Senior Software Developer - GenAI Platform

As a Senior Software Developer – GenAI, you’ll play a critical role in building and scaling Generative AI platforms that enable innovative, AI-driven solutions across Nasdaq’s global technology landscape.

You’ll thrive in this position if you’re collaborative, technically curious, and passionate about applying modern AI technologies to solve complex, real-world problems in a fast‑paced, high‑impact environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deliver high‑quality components for Generative AI applications with a focus on performance, reliability, and scalability
• Collaborate with cross‑functional, globally distributed teams to translate technical requirements into robust solutions
• Contribute to data collection, preprocessing, and curation to support Generative AI model development
• Participate in code reviews and promote best practices across software development and cloud engineering
• Engage in technical discussions, documentation, and continuous improvement of development standards

Required Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in Python, including best practices and modern development patterns
• Hands‑on experience with AWS and cloud‑based architectures
• Experience with infrastructure as code, preferably Terraform
• Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software design patterns
• Clear communicator with the ability to collaborate effectively in distributed, Agile environments

Preferred Qualifications

• Understanding of Generative AI concepts, including Large Language Models (LLMs) and their applications
• Experience with SQL, relational and non‑relational databases, and unstructured data
• Familiarity with Linux/Unix and Windows operating systems

This position is located in Vilnius, Lithuania and offers the opportunity for hybrid work environment at least 3 days a week in-office, subject to change, providing flexibility and accessibility for qualified candidates.
