Main Focus & Challenges
Nasdaq is looking for a Financial Planning Analyst to join the Capital Access Platforms Marketing team within the growing business unit in Vilnius. The FP&A role drives the planning processes for the unit including annual budgets, monthly forecasts, monthly actuals, headcount management, reporting and analytics. This position is a key member of the Business Control team which works very closely with the business unit leadership on a regular basis.
The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our business leads by providing insightful financial analysis and contributing to budget-setting and forecasting processes. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work closely with various departments and make a significant impact on our financial strategies.
What you will do
- Collaborate with business leads to inform budget-setting and ongoing forecasts for headcount plans and operational expenses, aligned with the company's revenue goals.
- Participate in meetings with business leads to gather insights and provide financial guidance.
- Record accurate transactions during month-end close procedures.
- Provide variance commentary between actuals and forecasts, identifying key drivers and trends.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of financial models to support strategic decision-making.
- Prepare and present financial reports and analysis to senior management.
- Continuously improve financial processes and systems to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
What we expect
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting or related field
- 2-3 years of experience in a financial environment applying analytical and problem-solving skills
- Solid understanding of financial planning business processes and budgeting
- High proficiency in utilizing Workday, OneStream, MS Excel, and PowerPoint
- Ability to work with large sets of data to spot trends and anomalies, understand the details while being able to tell the big picture story.
- Keen attention to details.
- Ability to handle multiple simultaneous projects and meet tight deadlines; have an ability to remain calm under pressure and in the face of uncertainty.
- Must be proactive, resourceful, and demonstrate intellectual curiosity.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

What happens now?
This is a full-time permanent position located in Vilnius. Nasdaq offers a hybrid workplace to find a balance between working from home and collaborating in the office, therefore it's required to come into the office at least 2 days per week.
Monthly salary (Gross): 2400 EUR – 2700 EUR, other bonuses apply. Final offer will be based on candidate experience.
