The Role
.Monks is on a mission to revolutionize the media landscape by building next-generation products that blend AI, automation, and data intelligence to power the future of marketing and advertising. We’re looking for a bold, visionary Senior Director of Media Product to lead the strategy, development, and commercialization of transformative media products that deliver real business value for global brands.
This is a product-first leadership role, responsible for shaping and scaling a portfolio of cutting-edge media technologies. From intelligent media planning platforms to real-time optimization engines and predictive measurement tools, you’ll drive the ideation-to-execution cycle of products that set new industry standards.
You’ll work closely with engineering, design, analytics, media planning / buying, and commercial teams to build products that anticipate market needs, deliver seamless user experiences, and generate sustainable growth. As a product evangelist, you’ll also forge strategic partnerships and represent .Monks’ innovation agenda with clients, stakeholders, and tech partners.

- Product Vision & Strategy: Define and drive the long-term product vision and roadmap for .Monks’ media product suite, aligning with market trends, client needs, and emerging technologies.
- Innovation Leadership: Lead the conceptualization, prototyping, and launch of groundbreaking media products that leverage AI, automation, and real-time data processing.
- Market Differentiation: Identify opportunities to disrupt traditional media operations, creating intelligent platforms for planning, trafficking, optimization, and reporting that deliver competitive advantage.
- User-Centric Design: Partner with UX/UI teams to ensure product experiences are intuitive, impactful, and designed for scale, enabling internal teams and clients to extract maximum value.
- Product Development Oversight: Guide cross-functional teams through the product lifecycle, from MVP through to global deployment, ensuring timely delivery, quality assurance, and continuous improvement.
- Go-to-Market Enablement: Collaborate with Growth, Sales, and Marketing teams to position, package, and promote media products, contributing to business development and client adoption strategies.
- Commercialization & Monetization: Lead the development of commercial models, including pricing strategy, packaging, and revenue forecasting to ensure products are financially viable and market-competitive.
- Partnership & Ecosystem Building: Forge and manage strategic partnerships with leading ad tech platforms, data providers, and AI innovators to enrich product capabilities and accelerate time to market.
- Performance Metrics: Establish KPIs for product success, monitor adoption and satisfaction, and implement feedback loops to drive iterative enhancements.
- Thought Leadership: Represent .Monks in industry forums, tech conferences, and client summits, promoting our vision for AI-powered, productized media solutions.
Primary Qualifications:
- Product Expertise: 10+ years of experience in product management or product leadership, with a strong track record of delivering media technology solutions or digital marketing platforms.
- Innovation Track Record: Proven experience launching market-defining products, particularly in ad tech, martech, or AI-driven platforms, from concept to commercialization.
- Technical Acumen: Familiarity with AI/ML applications, cloud infrastructure (GCP/AWS), API ecosystems, and data-driven product environments. Hands-on understanding of agile product development, prototyping, and rapid iteration.
- Strategic Mindset: Ability to balance visionary thinking with practical execution, aligning product development with business objectives and client outcomes.
- Commercial Awareness: Strong understanding of the media value chain, with the ability to translate product innovation into revenue growth, market share expansion, and operational efficiency.
- Leadership: Experience building and scaling high-performing product teams, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Exceptional communicator, comfortable working with C-level executives, engineering teams, clients, and partners to align vision, priorities, and deliverables.
- Agility: Adept at navigating fast-paced environments, with the ability to pivot quickly, manage ambiguity, and lead cross-functional teams toward shared goals.
