Key Responsibilities
Own full P&L oversight for the Genomics segment, including revenue, gross margin, and cost drivers
Lead financial planning, analysis, and strategic support across clinical oncology, lab operations, and pharma partnerships
Partner with R&D, Operations, Commercial, and Strategy teams to monitor performance to plan, evaluate new investment opportunities and optimize resource allocation
Drive reimbursement modeling, pricing strategy, and payer analytics to support revenue growth and sustainability
Support senior leadership with board materials, long-range planning, and business reviews
Build, lead, and mentor a small but growing high-performing finance team (2–3 direct reports)
Develop and maintain robust financial models to evaluate performance, scenarios, and strategic initiatives
Serve as a key thought partner to business leaders in Genomics and beyond
Qualifications
7–10+ years of experience in finance, strategy, or related fields; healthcare, diagnostics, or life sciences experience strongly preferred
Proven success in a commercial finance or FP&A leadership role supporting revenue-driving business units
Strong strategic thinking, modeling, and analytical skills
Demonstrated ability to partner cross-functionally and influence executive stakeholders
Experience with P&L ownership and direct team management
Startup or high-growth company experience is a plus
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or related field;
CHI: $180,000-220,000
The expected salary range above is applicable if the role is performed from Illinois and may vary for other locations (California, Colorado, New York). Actual salary may vary based on qualifications and experience.
