As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will play a crucial role in improving our development and deployment processes, building AWS infrastructure, and ensuring the reliability of our high-performance computing and machine learning systems.
What you'll do:
Getting ops into production: You will be responsible for ensuring smooth and efficient operations by streamlining the deployment process and improving overall system performance.
Administration: You will take ownership of our database infrastructure, cloud architecture, and internal service provisioning, ensuring they are robust, scalable, and efficient.
Improving observability: You will enhance our monitoring capabilities, including metrics, logs, and service performance, to provide better insights into our systems' health and performance.
Design systems: you will help design and architect the systems you build and maintain.
Collaborating with other teams: You will work closely with our API, Web, Mobile and AI teams to ensure seamless integration and synchronisation, leveraging your expertise in systems and boundaries.
Skills We Love:
Experience in building and managing AWS infrastructure.
Exposure to Postgres
Knowledge of AWS Lambda
Proficiency in using Terraform for infrastructure provisioning and management
Strong knowledge of Linux operating systems and command-line tools is required.
Familiarity with continuous integration and deployment practices is necessary for efficient and reliable software delivery.
A proactive and preemptive approach to system reliability, including alerting and problem identification, is crucial for this position.
Experience with managing clusters of GPUs for machine learning calculations is held in high regard.
Ability to consistently and independently deliver clean, well-documented, scalable solutions
Familiarity with the foundational aspects of machine learning and its integration into production systems is a plus.
The ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic startup environment is a valuable asset for this role.
