As a Senior Data Engineer on our Marketing Operations team, you will tackle the exciting challenge of designing and implementing our core Data Warehouse model. You will work cross-functionally, collaborating with business experts, analytics teams, and other engineering functions to build a scalable data foundation from the ground up.

Your primary mission will be to architect and build robust data pipelines that transform product and corporate system data into critical insights for key stakeholders in Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Customer Success.
 

Your most impactful duties will include:

  • Designing, implementing, and building resilient data pipelines that deliver data with measurable quality and adhere to strict SLAs.

  • Partnering with data architects, domain experts, and analysts to create a trusted, well-understood data foundation that enables self-service analytics and aligns with business strategy.

  • Taking full ownership of the data lifecycle by creating clear documentation for data pipelines and establishing data lineage.
     

Required Skills (Must-Haves):

  • 5+ years of professional experience in data engineering, with a strong focus on building large-scale data platforms.

  • Proven expertise in Big Data technologies, including SparkTrinoIceberg, and the Hadoop framework.

  • Strong proficiency in at least one programming language, ideally Python or Java.

  • Hands-on experience with core AWS data services (S3, Glue, Lambda, SQS).

  • Demonstrated knowledge of Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) principles and practices.

  • Expert-level SQL skills and a solid background in data modeling.
     

Preferred Skills (Nice-to-Haves):

  • Hands-on experience with specific IaC tools, especially Terraform.

  • Practical experience designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines for automated code deployment (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).

  • A Master's degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.

  • Experience with broader cloud technologies and multi-cloud environments.
