About the Role
We’re looking for a Senior Data Analyst who doesn’t just read dashboards but builds them. Someone who can translate business questions into measurement frameworks, set up proper data foundations, and surface insights that drive decisions. You’ll work across regional clients in different sectors helping them connect the dots between social performance, web behavior, and business outcomes. This role suits someone who is both analytical and technical: equally comfortable working with Google Tag Manager, Looker Studio, or BigQuery as they are analyzing social and campaign data.
Responsibilities:
Data Strategy & Measurement
- Develop and maintain measurement frameworks aligned with client KPIs and business goals.
- Design and implement data collection strategies, including events, conversions, and user journeys.
- Build comprehensive measurement plans for websites, media campaigns, and social channels.
Tagging & Data Infrastructure
- Own and manage tagging architectures using Google Tag Manager, GA4, Floodlight, or similar tools.
- Work closely with developers to ensure accurate implementation of data layers and tracking tags.
- Conduct regular audits of analytics setups to ensure data accuracy, compliance, and consistency across platforms.
Analysis & Insight Generation
- Consolidate data from multiple sources (social, web, CRM, media) into actionable dashboards.
- Build automated dashboards in Looker Studio, Power BI, or Tableau for performance tracking.
- Deliver strategic insights, not just reports, identifying what’s working, what’s not, and why.
- Analyze trends, audience behavior, and campaign performance to inform creative, media, and content teams.
Social & Digital Data
- Analyze social listening data, engagement metrics, and sentiment to understand audience behavior.
- Integrate social data with business KPIs to show real impact.
- Support always-on campaign optimization through data-driven recommendations.
Technical Ownership
- Ensure proper data layer documentation, taxonomy alignment, and naming conventions across projects.
- Collaborate with tech and dev teams to validate tracking scripts and troubleshoot discrepancies.
- Maintain and optimize ETL pipelines (e.g., Supermetrics, API connectors, GCP workflows).
Collaboration & Mentorship
- Act as the data partner for strategy, media, and client servicing teams.
- Present findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Mentor junior analysts on analytics tools, frameworks, and storytelling techniques.
About You
The essentials:
- 4+ years of experience in analytics or data-driven roles, ideally within agencies or consultancies in MENA.
- Strong experience with GA4, GTM, BigQuery, Looker Studio, and/or Power BI.
- Familiarity with SQL, Python (pandas), or APIs is a plus.
- Deep understanding of digital marketing, paid media metrics, and social data.
- Experience designing measurement frameworks and tagging infrastructures end-to-end, social listening tools such as Brandwatch and/or Sprinklr.
- Strong communication skills in English; Arabic understanding is an advantage.
- Analytical mindset with proven ability to turn raw data into business recommendations.
