As a key contributor you will be part of a leading team to drive and enhance AMD’s abilities to deliver the highest quality, industry-leading technologies to market.   THE PERSON: The ideal candidate possesses an innovative and problem-solving mindset, has a keen eye for Software engineering development, and is diligent and passionate about AI Technology. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Validate new AI SW features before releasing them to customers Create PRs to open-source AI projects to enhance AMD device support Create developer-orient technical collaterals including demos, tutorials, blogs, hands-on videos Drive successful adoption of AMD ROCm software and tools Drive best of class development flows and methodologies for AMD AI software and tools by collaborating with engineering and helping drive the design features and product roadmap PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: Good knowledge and hands-on experience in Python, C, C++ Hands-on experience with AI frameworks is a must (e.g. Pytorch, Triton, vLLM, SGLang) Familiarity with Linux and modern software tools and techniques for development Strong expertise with GPU, CUDA, ROCm, TensorRT is a plus Familiarity with AI coding assistant is a plus Good analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills, presentations skills, and the ability to work with multiple groups ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS: Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer/software engineering, Computer Science, or related technical discipline LOCATION: San Jose, CA #LI-MV1 #LI-HYBRID Benefits offered are described: AMD benefits at a glance.
