Overview:

The Security Engagement Analyst will be responsible for managing projects focused on key aspects of securing the human element of Salesforce. This role supports the goal of making security usable and accessible by focusing on critical programs like Security Compliance Training, Employee Onboarding and Phishing Awareness. The work contributes to the protection of customer data and acts as a protector of the Salesforce brand in relation to trust and security. You will play a key role in developing and maintaining security awareness content, ensuring compliance with security awareness standards and best practices and coordinating efforts across internal teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage projects related to security compliance training, employee onboarding, and phishing awareness programs, including defining project scope, deliverables, schedules, and tasks for anticipated business requirements.

  • Manage and track enrollment in security compliance training.

  • Develop, curate, and maintain security awareness content for various channels, such as training materials, web content, and presentations.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with HR, IT, security teams, and other stakeholders to create and deliver world-class resources and programs.

  • Manage asset creation and delivery via appropriate channels for training and awareness initiatives.

  • Act as an advocate within Salesforce for making security education a priority area.

  • Contribute to content around relevant security best practices.

  • Maintain a portfolio of 6-8 simultaneous projects with lifecycles ranging from 2 weeks to 1 year.

Required Skills:

  • Proven written and verbal communication skills, preferably in information security or a related field.

  • Ability to distill technical security/technology concepts into simple yet compelling content.

  • Experience working effectively in a cross-functional environment.

  • Strong self-starter with a history of successful project execution. 

  • Ability to be self-driven and successful with minimal oversight.

  • Detail-oriented and strong organizational skills.

  • Comfortable wearing multiple hats.

  • Highly functional in a dynamic, challenging environment.

  • Thrives in a culture of creativity, ownership, delivery, and innovation.

  • Interest in empowering customers (or employees, in this context) to make sound security decisions.

  • Strong critical thinking skills.

Desired Skills:

  • Knowledge of information security is a plus.

  • Some experience or knowledge of Salesforce technology, or experience using Salesforce as an Administrator required.

  • Familiarity with learning design and learning management systems.

  • Public speaking experience.

For California-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $103,500 to $103,500.
