With your subject matter expertise in NLP you’ll have a high impact on our product and mission to make conversations more valuable.

Your Responsibilities

Develop novel solutions for speech and natural language processing tasks
Build large-scale models on real-world multi-modal data that improve Otter’s products
Collaborate with Research Scientists and Engineers to evaluate model performance, analyze issues and design mitigations
Communicate progress and results with the team through presentations and reports
Document and publish findings in academic conferences and journals

We're looking for someone who

Has experience developing deep learning algorithms and training/fine-tuning models for NLP/ASR
Has experience in Python and deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch, Tensorflow or JAX
Has comfort working in a Linux command-line environment
Is currently in the process of obtaining a masters or Ph.D. degree in Machine Learning, Natural Language Processing, Speech Recognition or related field

Hourly Pay Range: $45 to $70 USD per hour

This pay range represents the low and high end of the estimated pay range for this position. The actual pay offered for the role is dependent based on several factors.
