The Salesforce Success Plan Sales team is a rapidly growing global business seeking an outstanding strategic leader to join our India+Asean team as The Regional Vice President of Signature Specialist Sales for South Asia. The successful candidate will lead a high-performing specialist sales team driving one of the most strategic and fast-growth products in the company; helping some of our largest and most complex customers accelerate their success on Salesforce. This individual will lead the Signature Specialist team, and be responsible for developing, communicating, and delivering a successful sales strategy driving coverage and growth working with key leaders of the South Asia Operating Unit.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Driving bookings and exceeding revenue targets to grow the Signature specialist sales business
- Accurate reporting on sales activity and forecasting to senior sales management
- Creating and gaining executive agreement on a Signature sales strategy that is co-owned by the core license sales and the Customer Success organizations
- Engaging at the C-level in enterprise customer organizations to position the value of Success Plans
- Developing a winning Signature Specialist Sales team, including recruiting, hiring, and developing sales talent
- Coaching direct reports on strategies to drive bookings
- Driving operational excellence within the Specialist Sales team
- Capable of successfully handling significant escalations and issues
- Consistent monitoring of the sales activity of the team, and tracking of results
Minimum Requirements:
- 10-15+ yrs Previous experience managing a team of quota carrying sales reps.
- Proven people leadership skills to develop, drive, and motivate managers and ICs.
- Proven ability to front executive relationships (internal and external) to the CEO level
- Consistent track record of accomplishment in successfully managing ideally a services, and support sales organization - or license sales - in the technology sector.
- Ideally sales leadership experience and relationships across both the India and South-East Asia regions.
- Demonstrated ability to create and communicate a clear and inspiring vision for growth.
- Capable of maturing a high-growth business and teams.
- Ability to collaborate and influence in a “win as a team” environment, effectively working with senior executives in a matrix organization
