The Opportunity

Technical Project Engineering focuses on a range of engineering disciplines (electrical, electro-mechanical).  

 

How You'll Make an Impact:

• Engineering development: Ensuring that engineering is developed with complete information and/or that all multidisciplinary information has been included.
• Leading development of new solutions for complex projects and challenges. Driving completion of all engineering activities on the project.
• Coordinating engineering discipline across several projects.
• Providing technical support for testing, installation and commissioning activities. Preparing complete project documents in area of responsibility.
• May act as a design authority for a particular engineering discipline and completes engineering assignments for that discipline. 
• Interacts directly with customers, officials, contractors and supply chain. 
• Managing projects / processes, working independently with limited supervision. 
• Coaching and reviewing the work of lower-level professionals. 
• Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures and guidelines

Your Background:

• Understanding of Local and International Standards and Regulations for Electrical Applications.
• Knowledge of Representation Elements for Technical Drawing.
• Knowledge of Electrical Systems, including analysis of Power Schematics and Functional Diagrams.
• Basic Knowledge of Low, Medium, and High Voltage Installations.
• Proficiency in design software applications such as AutoCAD, E3, etc.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
• English language proficiency.
• Strong communication skills, suitable for being part of teams that visit and work on sites where projects are carried out on behalf of HITACHI Energy.
• Proactive attitude.
• This opportunity is for a Senior Designer, whose expertise must include no less than 4 years of experience in roles similar to the one required. The candidate must demonstrate consistency in applying the described knowledge, as we are seeking a solid and committed individual for the development of medium- and long-term projects.
