Generative AI (GenAI) is looking for a Production Design Leader to join the GenAI Design team, working on priority GenAI initiatives across Meta. You will be the leader of and hold ownership over the present and future of our design team’s production design processes, tools, and systems, evolving how we work and provide creative partnership/support company-wide across product and marketing/brand.

Define and own the entire production design process.

Partner with cross functional leads to align on handoff and production procedures for work streams large and small.

Partner with production designers, product designers, content designers, and engineers to ensure that design system components are high quality, consistent, cohesive and available to both designers and engineers building the GenAI product suite.

Frame conversations to elicit the right feedback from partners.

Seek to scale yourself and the team through automation, documentation and teaching others on new and innovative ways of working.

Introduce innovative solutions to increase our speed, efficiency, quality and craftsmanship.

Minimum Qualifications

10+ years of relevant design experience Experience working on design systems, toolkit development and stewardship

An expert in Figma (Autolayout, Libraries, Tokens) Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.)

Experience with file management and versioning (Dropbox, Google Drive, GitHub)

Experience with Apple Keynote and Google Slides

Experience designing native platforms (iOS, Android, macOS, and Windows) as well as web for both mobile and desktop

Familiar with HTML/CSS/Basic Markup Highly detail-oriented and a process thinker

Experience thriving in the face of rapidly shifting priorities and frequent ambiguity

Experience training others and scaling the organization/product/team knowledge base

Preferred Qualifications

Previous experience building a large design system at a major tech company

Experience communicating ideas and present well in order to gain consensus on new ideas and processes

Experience advocating for design systems teams, and interested in nurturing partnerships with product teams

Prototyping (Origami preferred) experience

$174,000/year to $246,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits

Individual compensation is determined by skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Compensation details listed in this posting reflect the base hourly rate, monthly rate, or annual salary only, and do not include bonus, equity or sales incentives, if applicable.
