Job Description
Role Summary:
Visa is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Product Manager to lead Visa’s strategic initiatives focused on money movement in LAC markets. This role is in global product within Visa’s movement platform i.e., Visa Direct.
In this role, you'll be collaborating with LAC regional, LAC in country and global product teams. This role will focus on building and improving Visa Direct money movement platform. You will work closely with the respective teams to understand local payment landscape and work with engineering to build integrations with clients and partners to enable a reliable and high performing money movement ecosystem. Clients and partners included issuers, acquirers, digital wallets, banks, and FinTech’s. You will be responsible for success metrics for our money movement infrastructure in LAC. This includes improving performance, lowering cost and reducing friction for clients and end users.
The ideal candidate will bring a blend of strategic thinking, product execution, and strong stakeholder management skills to deliver innovative and scalable payment experiences. Strong communication and confidence to align priorities with senior leadership is a must for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
Product Ownership & Development
Identify opportunities to enhance money movement infrastructure that enables clients to move money instantly, with reduced cost and friction
Translate opportunities to product initiatives backed by strong business case, in market validations and support from regional partners.
Develop and own roadmap for initiatives from ideation through development, launch, and continuous enhancement.
Manage and prioritize the product backlog aligned with business strategy.
Cross-functional Collaboration
Collaborate with senior leadership in LAC region and in LAC country. Understand the senior leadership perspective and leverage that to inform the product strategy. Communicate value proposition, go to market and roadmap for initiatives to the senior leadership.
Partner closely with technical teams to design and deliver high-quality solutions.
Work with internal teams across commercial, solutioning, strategy, risk, legal, compliance, and operations to ensure smooth delivery.
Ecosystem Engagement
Serve as the primary product point of contact for internal/external partners including banks, acquirers, wallets, and FinTech’s and internal stakeholders.
Support integration efforts with partners and identify product improvements based on real-world feedback.
Agility & Innovation
Apply agile methodologies to guide product development and iteration.
Encourage creative problem-solving, bring a strong sense of ownership, and drive projects to completion.
This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business, Economics, or related field. MS or MBA is a plus.
• 6+ years of experience in Product Management within payments, fintech, or digital financial services.
• Strong understanding of the money movement ecosystem, across key use cases such as person to person, person to business, business to business or business to person payments. Knowledge of Visa Direct a plus.
• Experience managing technical products and working with APIs and backend systems.
• Strong communication skills in both English and Spanish (spoken and written).
