About the role

We are building the future of open-ended interactions between people and intelligent dialog agents. This requires rethinking design, user interfaces, workflows and interactivity from first principles. We’re looking for a Senior or Staff level Front End Engineer who is genuinely excited about this future and can make significant contributions to our front-end development efforts.  If you are a skilled software engineer with a deep passion for front end development, and you thrive in a fast-paced, agile environment, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.

Responsibilities:  

• Develop highly performant, visually appealing, and user-friendly interfaces that push the boundaries of what's possible.

• Refine and improve our user interface to ensure it’s highly engaging, that it delights our consumer audience and exceeds their needs, desires and expectations.

• Collaborate with others to define and implement new product features and design patterns

• Use your expertise with Front End technology and tools to create a positive and engaging experience.

• Develop front end software for cross platform implementations.  

Job Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience as a Front-End or Full-Stack Software Engineer with a strong focus on user experience and design

• At least 2 years of experience with React, alongside proficiency in other JS frameworks and libraries, is also required.

• React native experience is highly preferred

• Demonstrated experience with UI/UX design and rapidly iterating based on user feedback.

• Deep understanding of Typescript, Javascript  CSS, HTML, and modern front end design patterns and best practices. 

• Experience with the front end development of rapidly scaling consumer-facing applications is highly desired.  

• Proven ability to work in a fast-paced development environment and deliver timely results.

• Demonstrated use of data driven approaches to experiment, measure success and iterate is also a must.

• Ability to navigate complex technical and product-related issues.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are also required
