Paraguayan Guaraní - Linguist

We are looking for Paraguayan Guaraní speakers with a linguistic degree to participate in a unique project aimed at preserving various language varieties by collecting audio data and transcribing it to train AI models for voice recognition. This is an excellent opportunity to make a significant impact in the AI field, specifically in enhancing voice recognition capabilities.

As a linguist, your primary role will be to check and ensure the quality of audio recordings and transcriptions, among other tasks described below.

-Conduct quality checks on audio recordings and their corresponding transcriptions

-Learn and use our scorecard system to do quality checks

-Adapt and localize guidelines as necessary

-Maintain daily communication with Project Managers to monitor and ensure project progress

-Assist in evaluating other candidates for fluency in Paraguayan Guaraní

-Record audio and provide transcriptions as required

We will provide a list of prompts/questions (e.g., "What is your favorite recipe?") for candidates to use when making audio recordings. Their task is to answer questions in Paraguayan Guaraní while recording their responses.
