Join our team of machine learning experts to develop and implement cutting-edge models specifically tailored for price optimization. You will work closely with data scientists to deploy low latency services in production with the objective to infer customer willingness to pay and optimize bid pricing, leveraging theories of opportunity cost. Your work will directly influence pricing strategies for millions of customers.

YOUR ROLE AT SIXT

• You collaborate with data scientists to deploy and optimize machine learning models for pricing, using techniques such as neural networks, gradient boosting, genetic algorithms, linear programming, and time series forecasting. 
• You design, build, and maintain robust ML pipelines that support scalable and reliable deployment of pricing models, fully integrated with existing systems.
• You work cross-functionally with product managers, engineers, and data scientists to turn experimental models into production-ready systems that drive business impact. 
• You monitor model performance in production, implement feedback loops, and continuously refine models to adapt to changing market conditions.
• You automate infrastructure and workflows to support large-scale data processing and real-time model serving for dynamic pricing.
• You document deployment practices and share insights on model performance with both technical and non-technical stakeholders to support strategic decisions.

YOUR SKILLS MATTER

• You architect, deploy, and maintain production-grade machine learning systems that are reliable, scalable, and optimized for real-world performance.
• You bring strong Python skills and hands-on experience with ML libraries like TensorFlow, PyTorch, and Scikit-learn to develop and deploy models efficiently.
• You manage ML workflows using tools like MLflow and Apache Airflow, ensuring reproducibility, automation, and streamlined model governance.
• You apply causal inference techniques—such as A/B testing, difference-in-differences, propensity scoring, and double machine learning—to support pricing and experimentation.
• You work with AWS and distributed data processing tools like Apache Spark, Dask, or Polars to handle large-scale data transformation and analytics.
• You collaborate across teams to translate complex modeling needs into robust engineering solutions, while communicating clearly with both technical and business stakeholders.
