Mechanical Technician

Figure is an AI Robotics company developing a general purpose humanoid. Our Humanoid is designed for corporate tasks targeting labor shortages and jobs that are undesirable or unsafe. We are based in Sunnyvale, CA and require 5 days/week in-office collaboration.

We are looking for a Mechanical Build Technician to assist our actuator build team in assembly of precision components used directly in our robots. 

Responsibilities: 

• Assemble of precision mechanical components
• Collaborate with electrical, test and PCBA technicians on final assemblies
• Provide feedback to the mechanical engineering team on designs
• Perform repairs on mechanical assemblies
• Assist our robot maintenance team with troubleshooting mechanical failures
• Track and document work performed
• Document issues found and communicate these quickly to the appropriate teams
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace

Requirements: 

• 5-10 years experience as a mechanical technician in a related field
• Proficient in mechanical design
• High level understanding of precision measuring equipment
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Proficient in the google suite or similar
