Marketing Content Specialist at Jasper

As a Marketing Content Specialist, you will be a key part of Jasper’s product team, helping us convert the power of generative AI into real value for our enterprise marketing customers.

We strive to produce the highest quality marketing content, and your role will be to help us refine our understanding of what high quality marketing content is, across all marketing verticals. You will also play a critical role in helping your team understand the workflows of marketers, working with our product and engineering teams as a domain expert to help us refine our marketing creation workflows.

This is a remote role open to candidates located anywhere within Australia.

We have offices in Austin, TX and Salt Lake City, UT with employees based across the US and Australia. We've built a strong foundation to support remote employee engagement with other teams. We have a mix of experience levels and backgrounds, and we're building an environment that celebrates knowledge sharing, mentoring and career growth.

What you will do at Jasper:

• Deeply understand the marketing persona, and the needs that marketers have in AI-generated content.
• Establish benchmarks for marketing excellence, defining what constitutes high-quality marketing outputs for each of Jasper's core content types.
• Engage with customers to research and collect feedback on Jasper's outputs and workflows, understanding their requirements for high quality content, and communicating this to our product and engineering teams.
• Analyze the content that Jasper creates, identifying deficiencies in our generations and opportunities for improvement.
• Write and curate exemplary content that serves as gold standard examples for Jasper's outputs, helping both our AI systems and our internal teams grasp the intricacies of effective marketing content.
• Collaborate closely with our prompt engineers to translate marketing needs into actionable prompts that guide the AI in producing high quality marketing content.
• Work with product, design and engineering to understand, ideate and refine Jasper's core content creation workflows.
• Analyze and map out marketing workflows to identify opportunities for AI assistance.
• Stay up-to-date with marketing trends and competitor strategies, updating our standards and benchmarks to reflect the latest best practices in marketing content.
• Continuously tackle challenging problems at the forefront of AI and content creation.

What you will bring to Jasper:

• At least 5+ years of marketing experience, with knowledge of a wide range of marketing workflows and content types.
• Experience working directly with product and engineering teams, helping to turn customer insights into actionable products.
• Exceptional writing and content creation skills, with a deep understanding of the requirements of high quality marketing content.
• Experience working with AI creation tools, with a passion and understanding for the power these tools can bring to marketing workflows.
• A strong understanding of how concepts like audience, brand, voice, tone and style affect the requirements and properties of high performing content.
• Strong problem-solving skills, with an emphasis on lateral thinking and innovation.
• A strong ability to collaborate. We work in a highly collaborative environment where the lines between product, design, and engineering are all blurred.

Compensation Range

At Jasper, we believe in pay transparency and are committed to providing our employees and candidates with access to information about our compensation practices. The expected base salary range offered for this role is $145,000 - $171,000 AUD. Compensation may vary based on relevant experience, skills, competencies and certifications.
