Machine Translation Evaluator – Arabic + Japanese

Language Requirement: Native Arabic + Japanese (JLPT N2 or above)

Project Duration: August – December 2025

Daily Workload: Approx. 3 hours/day

We are seeking 2 experienced bilingual linguists to join a machine translation evaluation project focused on translations from Arabic into Japanese. Your role will be to assess the quality of machine-generated translations from engines such as DeepL, Google Translate, and a customized MT engine — no need to edit the output, just evaluate.

* You will assess machine translation quality based on the following four key dimensions:

* Fluency – Is the translation written in natural, readable Japanese grammar and phrasing?

* Accuracy – Does it faithfully reflect the meaning and information of the source text?

* Comprehensibility – Is the content easily understandable?

* Terminology – Are terms and expressions appropriate for the security domain and its context?

* Native speaker of Arabic

* Japanese language proficiency at JLPT N2 or above

* Experience in linguistic review or translation is a plus

* Strong attention to detail, especially in contextual and domain-specific evaluation

* Work on a high-impact AI and NLP project
