The Opportunity: 

We are looking for a versatile Software Architect specializing in MLOps for a key role that combines architectural design with team leadership within the Visa Tink/VOB organisation.
The Work itself: 

• Design and build our machine learning platform to power future products. 

• Work with product managers and stakeholders across the organisation to prioritise high-value functionality. 

• Architect the system with engineers and other architects across the organisation.

• ​Drive the implementation of architecture and design decisions across the organisation. 

• Lead the day-to-day work of engineers in the Machine Learning Platform (MLP) team. 

• Own MLP platform products for compliance and security. 

• Contribute hands-on alongside the MLP engineers.

• Stay current with the fast-changing ML and AI landscape to avoid technology drift. 

• Report directly to the Engineering Director. 

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.

Qualifications

The Skills You Bring:

• Expertise in Machine Learning Operations (MLOps): Proven experience in architecting and building automated pipelines and tooling required to develop, train, and deploy ML models at scale within a public cloud environment (AWS, GCP).
• Expertise in the current Machine leaning platform at Tink/VOB: Multiple years of hands-on experience with the specific ML/AI tools, infrastructure, models, and pipelines currently utilized at Tink/VOB.
• Technical Leadership and Ownership: Has the experience needed to take ownership of our ML system architecture, acting as a guardian for best practices and good design, while leading the team of MLOps engineers
