Machine Learning Advocate Engineer Internship, Audio - EMEA Remote

About the Role

With the rise of LLMs, we’re seeing a massive surge in Audio LMs and the community is using the Hugging Face ecosystem to train, evaluate, and share such models, datasets, and demos. In this internship, you’ll enable the development of the next generation of these Audio LMs by making open source tools more accessible to the community. This could include integrations with audio data providers (like Common Voice and GigaSpeech) and improved support for audio data types, building demos for state-of-the-art audio/ voice models, or creating new leaderboards for evaluations (TTS Arena, Open ASR Leaderboard) within Spaces and Gradio.

Note: This is not a marketing position! Developer Advocacy at Hugging Face is deeply technical and having a generalist mindset is essential. Our team contributes to libraries such as Transformers, Diffusers or Datasets, as well as to external libraries.

You'll get to foster and drive collaborations with groups in the ML for Audio Space, lead communications, adopt the latest Audio-related features, and build tools for the community.
