As a Lead Software Developer, you'll create full-stack, cloud-native software applications with amazing user-experiences with the very latest technologies. You will collaborate with business partners and technology team members to add enhancements and new products in a fast growing Cloud SaaS business that builds on your love of learning and desire to continue to grow your technology skills.

What will you be doing?

At Nasdaq Fund Secondaries (NFS), we support the constantly evolving secondaries landscape with purpose-built technology for private fund sponsors and investors seeking liquidity. Our all-in-one secondaries platform is crafted to minimize friction, reduce complexity, and build more seamless routes to liquidity. You will join a product focused development team who architect, implement, and maintain solutions through new and existing applications. Some of the key responsibilities will include:
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to independently lead development of full-stack solutions, with an emphasis on .NET and React
  • Bring modern development practices with React, C# and AI to modernize, simplify, and reduce the footprint of our existing Ruby on Rails application
  • Mentor colleagues through advice, coaching, and training
  • Proactively identify and resolve potential problems/issues including authoring of technical specifications
  • Apply the best software development practices including code standards and architectural decisions

This position is in Atlanta, Georgia, and offers the opportunity for a hybrid work environment (at least 3 days a week in office, subject to change), providing flexibility and accessibility for qualified candidates.

Who are we looking for?

  • A degree qualified in a field related to Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent work experience
  • Experience working in a full-stack development team
  • A track record of learning new technology, understanding how and when to apply it to problems, and an ability to teach it to others
  • Dedication to using AI tools to tackle problems and improve development processes
  • Experience with JavaScript frameworks: React, Vue.Js, or Angular
  • Experience with C# or another strongly-typed language for server-side development
  • Solid understanding of Relational Storage technologies: PostgreSQL, MySQL, or SQL Server
  • Experience designing, implementing, and leading execution of software solutions alongside other developers
  • A curiosity about the business and a desire to tackle the problems our clients are facing

It would also be great if you have:

  • Software delivery experience in a SaaS environment
  • Hands-on experience with cloud technologies, such as AWS or Azure
  • Infrastructure as Code experience, such as Terraform or Cloud Formation
  • Experience with Databricks
  • Modern service design & development experience
