About the Team
We are seeking a resilient and highly experienced technical leader to join our team, our Ohana (family), and drive the next phase of our product development. As an LMTS, you will be instrumental in setting the technical direction and engineering standards for a critical product line, collaborating closely with Product Management, Architecture, and business stakeholders. Your work will directly impact millions of users, focusing on delivering features that are not only high-quality but also technically brilliant, highly scalable, and secure. The Role: Technical Leadership & Excellence
As a Lead Member of Technical Staff, you will be a hands-on technical leader responsible for driving engineering excellence across the full development lifecycle. This role requires a blend of deep technical expertise, a passion for emerging AI technologies, and the ability to mentor and elevate the entire engineering team.
Key Responsibilities
Technical & Engineering Leadership: Champion and enforce best-in-class engineering practices, including architecture reviews, code quality, scalability design, and security standards.
Emerging AI Technology Lead: Spearhead the research, prototyping, and integration of AI/ML technologies and other emerging solutions to enhance product features, performance, and user experience.
Full-Cycle Development Ownership: Lead the design and development of features from concept to production, ensuring adherence to functional, performance, security, and compliance standards for a platform catering to millions of users.
Quality Engineering & DevSecOps: Assume ownership of service quality by defining comprehensive test strategies, building advanced automation frameworks, and promoting DevSecOps and resilience practices.
Architecture & Strategy: Collaborate with engineering leadership and architects to define and evolve the long-term technical roadmap, system architecture landscapes, and identify key gaps between current and desired states.
Mentorship & Influence: Set and uphold coding standards, foster critical thinking and technical innovation, and establish open dialogue and trust across upstream and downstream service teams.
What You'll Bring
Required Experience & Technical Expertise
10+ years of progressive experience in software development, with a significant track record in designing and building large web-based, distributed systems.
Deep Salesforce Expertise (8+ years required): Expert-level comprehension of the Salesforce Platform and product suite (e.g., Sales, Service, Community, Marketing, Experience Clouds).
Experience Cloud Experience & Slack Integration is required
System Architecture & Integration Mastery:
Strong understanding of scalable system architecture, key design patterns, and handling large data volume (LDV) limitations and best practices.
Expertise in data integration patterns and tools, with hands-on experience integrating Salesforce with various business systems.
Must have experience with MuleSoft and other leading integration technologies.
AI/Emerging Technology Experience: Practical experience or a strong foundational understanding of AI/ML technologies and their application in enterprise software.
Coding Proficiency: Expert-level proficiency in multiple modern programming languages, including but not limited to Java, JavaScript, Apex, and Lightning Web Components (LWC).
Experience in CI/CD - jenkins Pieline and Agentic CICD
Quality & Security: Strong grasp of platform security capabilities (TLS, SSL, authentication patterns like SAML, SSO, OAuth) and a background in resilience and secure development.
Operations & Release: Deep knowledge of environment management, release management, code versioning best practices, and CI/CD deployment methodologies.

Customer Focus: Cultivates connections with customers to gain deep insights into their business needs, directly informing the design and prioritization process.
Nice to Have
Experience with Cloud Platforms such as AWS or Heroku.
Proficiency in data visualization and business intelligence tools (e.g., Tableau).
Active and relevant Salesforce certifications.
