About the Role
As a Lead Megs Engineer, you’ll drive the design and development of advanced video and data processing solutions for mission-critical enterprise initiatives. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will be responsible for efficient data chunking, storage, and leveraging AI-driven insights from video clips, contributing significantly to our clients’ transformation journeys.
Responsibilities
- Architect, design, and implement scalable mesh processing systems, optimizing for performance and reliability
- Collaborate with AI, backend, and infrastructure teams to refine pipelines for video data ingestion, storage, and analysis
- Develop and maintain robust integrations with Nvidia VSS, Kubernetes clusters, and backend systems using Python and other programming languages
- Lead technical decision-making, code reviews, and mentorship of fellow engineers
- Utilize advanced video processing tools, such as ffmpeg, to enable nuanced understanding and manipulation of video clips
- Ensure seamless deployment and operation of processing systems in cloud or hybrid environments
- Document technical architecture, workflows, and best practices
- Other duties as assigned
About You
Qualifications & Skills
- 10+ years of relevant work experience in software engineering, systems architecture, or related roles
- Strong expertise in Nvidia VSS and Python
- Familiarity with Kubernetes and cloud-based distributed system deployment
- Experience with video processing frameworks (e.g., ffmpeg)
- Proficient in at least one robust backend programming language (such as C, Java, or Golang)
- Exceptional written and verbal English communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to break down complex technical concepts and present them clearly
- Strong problem-solving, analytical thinking, and mentorship abilities
