As a Senior Software Engineer – Intelligent Solutions, you will design and deliver scalable, cloud-native platforms that power customer interactions, agent support, and operational excellence at SIXT.

YOUR ROLE AT SIXT

• You design and implement cloud-native platforms on AWS with Java, Spring Boot, and microservices.
• You build intelligent solutions leveraging agentic AI (voice, messaging, automation) for customer and agent use cases.
• You enhance our Service Resolution Hub by integrating backend systems, AI-driven automation, and workflow orchestration.
• You architect and deliver event-driven, distributed systems that ensure scalability, resilience, and real-time performance.
• You collaborate with product and business teams to identify opportunities for automation, system integration, and customer experience improvements.

YOUR SKILLS MATTER

• Backend Engineering Expertise: You bring 5+ years of professional experience in backend software development, consistently delivering high-quality solutions.

• Java Development: You’re proficient in Java or comparable languages like Kotlin, and you have hands-on experience with frameworks such as Spring Boot.

• Cloud-Native Systems: You’ve worked extensively with cloud platforms like AWS (or similar), building scalable microservices architectures and cloud-native applications.

• Distributed Systems Design: You’re skilled in designing distributed, event-driven systems and solving complex scalability challenges in production environments.

• Business Impact: You translate technical solutions into measurable business value, integrating automation or AI where it drives meaningful outcomes.
