What we’re looking for
We are looking for a hands-on Head of Sales to own the entire go-to-market motion. Reporting directly to the CEO, you’ll combine strategic leadership with personal revenue quota. You will design and drive both product-led growth and enterprise sales motions, close deals with senior executives in energy trading, utilities, and financial markets.
Responsibilities and tasks
- Define and refine a hybrid product-led growth and enterprise sales funnel that drives both self-serve adoption and targeted enterprise engagements
- Set and own ambitious quarterly and annual revenue targets, maintain forecasting models, and performance tracking
- Own the full sales cycle from prospecting and qualification to negotiation and closing
- Design and execute growth-hacking initiatives (email campaigns, content programs, paid outreach) in the absence of a dedicated marketing team
- Travel internationally at short notice to meet prospects onsite, deliver workshops, build relationships and close deals
- Act as the primary external voice for Jua.ai: write thought-leadership pieces, host webinars, and represent us at industry events
Need-to-have
- 8+ years of B2B software sales experience, carrying an individual quota
- Of which at least two years were spent as the founding member of a sales team in a high growth early stage environment
- A high-achiever with a demonstrated track record of success
- Prior experience owning both demand generation and direct sales (e.g. as Head of Growth, Growth Marketing, or Head of Sales)
- Deep domain knowledge of the weather- or energy industry
- Able to “speak the language” of traders, meteorologists, and technical decision-makers and act as a trusted and credible advisor
- Previously sold +6-figure contracts
Nice-to-have
- Advanced degree (PhD or MSc) in a quantitative discipline
- Experience bringing AI/ML products to market
- Has built automated outbound channels with tools such as CRM, Clay, etc.
