The Strategic Finance team provides financial insights and guidance to support the organization's long-term goals and strategies. We partner across the business to allocate and deploy our resources for the highest impact outcomes. 

About the Role

We are hiring a Head of Product Finance to own and manage the financial performance of our suite of products across B2B and B2C.

This role is based in our San Francisco HQ. We use a hybrid work model of 3 days in the office per week and offer relocation assistance to new employees.

In this role, you will:

• Partner with our Product (“Applied”) organization to holistically manage the financial performance of our products

• Own usage, revenue, and gross margin forecasting and reporting

• Support strategic product initiatives, including evaluating new opportunities and supporting pricing and packaging work

• Partner with Compute teams to drive gross margin optimizations

• Establish and manage key metrics underpinning product revenue and gross margin performance, and regularly monitor, analyze, and report on these metrics to drive continuous improvement

• Drive product Long Range Planning

• Stay abreast of market trends and competitive dynamics to inform financial strategies

• Create high-quality Exec and Board-facing presentations

• Build and lead a high-performing team

You might thrive in this role if you have:

• 12+ years of progressive finance and product finance experience in high-growth or dynamic environments; investment banking, strategic consulting, or investing experience is a plus

• Strong understanding of B2C subscription, B2B subscription, and consumption models

• Ability to critically evaluate key levers, opportunities and risks in financial models

• Expert modeling and analytical skills

• Exemplary ability to distill complex financial information into actionable insights

• Best-in-class attention to detail and unwavering commitment to accuracy

• Experience building and managing a high-performing team

• Strong enthusiasm about technology and artificial intelligence
