Head of Finance

About the role

We are seeking a talented Head of Finance to build out the finance function for Character.AI. As our Head of Finance you’ll be responsible for our day to day financial planning, managing budgeting/spend, forecasting, reporting, etc. This person will also play a critical role in driving Character.AI’s fundraising and compute strategy.

What you’ll bring

• 10+ years of relevant FP&A experience, with at least 5 years directly managing people and teams, and ideally at a consumer software company

• You are very adept at operating at all levels with the ability to be hands-on while also keeping an eye on the strategic big picture

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related Business field;  MBA a plus
  

This role is in-person at our office in Menlo Park
