About the role: 

We are looking for a frontend software engineer to rapidly develop web and mobile applications that demonstrate our Generative AI technologies.

Responsibilities:  

• Develop the frontend functionality of our customer-facing web and mobile applications using tools like React, Next.JS
• Work closely with product management, design, research and engineering teams to deliver high-quality and user-friendly products
• Write clean and extensible Typescript and Python code since some of it is likely to get released to customers or the general public
• Optimize performance
• Implement and improve event tracking across our products
• Use best practices to ensure that the applications can be efficiently tested and debugged, to ensure they work as expected across multiple devices and browsers.

Qualifications:

• Passion about building great, enjoyable products
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• 3+ years frontend experience
• General hands-on experience with the foundational web technologies such as HTML5, CSS, Responsive Design and REST APIs
• Experience working as a member of a small, agile software development team
• Experience and strong interest in AI, e.g.: to speed up application development
