About the Role
We are looking for a talented Frontend Developer with strong attention to detail, solid communication skills, and a drive to build reliable solutions. In this role, you’ll work with designers, backend developers, and product teams to help implement new features and maintain existing applications. You’ll have opportunities to learn and grow by collaborating across disciplines and contributing ideas to the team.
Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain frontend applications using JavaScript frameworks and libraries such as React, Next.js, or Vue.js.
- Write clean, efficient, and reusable code to support user interactions and integrations with headless CMS platforms.
- Work with the team to optimise applications for performance and scalability.
- Collaborate closely with design and backend teams to implement features and ensure a seamless user experience.
- Ensure cross-browser compatibility and responsive design.
- Clearly communicate technical ideas and progress with the team.
- Troubleshoot and address frontend bugs or UI issues as they arise.
- Follow best practices for code quality, version control, and basic testing.
- Participate in code reviews and project planning.
About You
The essentials:
- 2–4 years of professional frontend development experience.
- Proficient in React, Next.js, JavaScript (ES6+), HTML, and CSS/SASS.
- Understanding of responsive design and browser compatibility.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Experience working with TypeScript basics.
- Exposure to headless CMS platforms (e.g., Contentful, Sanity, DatoCMS, Strapi).
- Comfortable using version control systems like Git.
- Experience working in agile teams or environments.
Nice to have:
- Deeper experience with TypeScript.
- Familiarity with UI libraries such as TailwindCSS, Styled Components, or Material UI.
- Exposure to testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, Cypress).
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
