Job Description
The International Emerging Stores (IES) Technology team builds products and services that solve unique customer needs in Amazon’s fastest growing marketplace. We are a multi-billion-dollar business with a huge potential to grow in a trillion-dollar market. The GameX program is part of the IES shopping org contributing to the lifecycle progression charter - the larger vision of the org is to drive efficient, step-function acceleration in customer engagement across Amazon Markets by acquiring customers and influencing them to progressively trust us more with their purchases. Our vision with Gamified Experiences is to craft immersive, entertaining & rewarding experiences to drive sustained repeat engagement across Amazon’s Emerging Markets and accelerate customers’ lifecycle.
Our engineers own the complete gamification experience for Amazon India & emerging stores, work on a wide range of technologies (including AWS , ML models, Gen AI’s technology) and build and operate highly scalable, low latency mobile first products and services. We are solving the last mile engineering challenges for the next set of customers who first experience Amazon on their mobile phones.
**Pioneering GenAI Integration:**
Craft intelligent reward systems using Large Language Models • Build AI-powered personalized gaming experiences • Implement smart achievement systems that evolve with user behavior • Create dynamic content generation for game elements
**Game Mechanics Innovation:**
Design engaging point systems and achievement paths • Develop real-time leaderboards and competitive features • Build interactive challenges and rewards • Create adaptive progression systems

Key job responsibilities
• Design and develop interactive gamification elements using modern frontend frameworks (React/Phaser ..etc)
• Integrate GenAI-powered features to create personalized and dynamic user experiences
• Build responsive and performant user interfaces that scale
• Collaborate with UX designers and backend teams to implement gamification mechanics
• Optimize frontend performance and ensure cross-browser compatibility
• Familiarity with WebGL or Canvas for interactive animations
