Expansion Project Manager

Mission: A smooth and successful launch of new country operations.

Responsibilities & opportunities in this role:

  • Within the first 3 months, enabled Groq’s expansion in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia; within 6 months created a playbook for expansion into other countries
  • New market entry is legally compliant, efficiently managed, aligned with the company's strategic goals, and fosters a cohesive operational environment that adheres to local regulations and corporate governance standards
  • Built strong relationships with key stakeholders across the business functions, including Finance, Legal, HR, IT, and the General Manager. Recognized as the central point of contact between the business functions and the team building the company in KSA 
  • Managed timelines, mitigated risks, and coordinated cross-departmental activities to ensure a smooth and successful launch of KSA operations with all functions aligned toward a common objective
  • Maintained a comprehensive understanding of the company's strategic goals and objectives, and ensures that the KSA operations are aligned with these goals.
  • Regular updates and reports to the General Manager and other stakeholders on the progress of the KSA operations.

Ideal candidates have/are:

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Proven experience in working across multiple business functions, including Finance, Legal, HR, IT, Sales and Operations.
  • Project Management: Strong project management skills, with the ability to develop and implement project plans, manage timelines, and mitigate risks.
  • Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with key stakeholders and communicate complex information in a clear and concise manner.
  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to think strategically, with a focus on driving business outcomes and achieving long-term goals.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues and develop creative solutions.
  • Cultural Adaptability: Ability to work in a culturally diverse environment and adapt to local customs and regulations.

Compensation: At Groq, a competitive base salary is part of our comprehensive compensation package, which includes equity and benefits. For this role, the base salary range is $143,600 to $332,300, determined by your skills, qualifications, experience and internal benchmarks.

Location: Groq is a geo-agnostic company, meaning you work where you are. Exceptional candidates will thrive in asynchronous partnerships and remote collaboration methods. Some roles may require being located near our primary sites, as indicated in the job description.
