As an Engineering Manager, you will guide skilled engineers and collaborate closely with product and design to deliver product features that make sports technology accessible to all, granting video analysis for teams on all levels—a privilege that used to be only for the few.

Veo is a global leader in AI-based sports camera technology. Our innovative, fully automatic camera solution enables sports teams to record matches and training sessions without a camera operator. More than 50,000 match recordings a week are uploaded, processed, and viewed, served by GPU-optimized video processing, computer vision, and scalable infrastructure developed within the Veo Platform.

As the person responsible for the output of a team of 3-8 engineers, peered with product and design, you will play an active part in defining and delivering outcomes that meet Veo’s product strategy.

You will work on the foundations of healthy teamwork and career development. Your background in continuous delivery, quality assurance and holding yourself and peers accountable for their outcomes will match Veo's core product pillars.

What you will do:

Hire great engineers who have seen the best and worst of both theory and practice

Obsess about the customer’s experience, both across the world and across your desk

Optimize Veo’s software development lifecycle across engineeringMotivate and coach team members to reach their full potential

Propagate rapid, stable, and sustainable engineering practices

Shape Veo’s scalable and maintainable product, platform, and infrastructure technologies

Participate with other engineering leaders to create a place where people can do the best work of their lives

What you could bring:

Leadership experience to do what needs to be done as an engineering manager

Technical depth and expertise in browser, mobile, backend, data, or firmware technologies

Hands-on engineering background, both educationally and professionally

Approachable growth mindset and personality, developing an innovative and inclusive positive team spirit

Learnings from what good looks like (or not so good) after long-term maintenance

Comprehensive verbal and written English communication skills
