Data Scientist Graduate (TikTok Shop AMS Data Science) - 2026 Start (BS/MS)

The Global e-commerce Data Science team aims to maximize the efficiency of e-commerce transactions, lead product decision-making iterations, and achieve sustainable growth in revenue with data and scientific methods, through quantitative techniques such as mathematical statistics and machine learning. This role for our US Operations team will be providing data solutions to E-commerce Operations teams to help solve interesting challenges for our Creator & Merchants.

Online Assessment

Responsibilities:
- Provide actionable insights to drive business growth and enhance operational efficiency;
- Utilize data science expertise to design data solutions that address commerce operations and product challenges, such as supply growth, user growth, and marketplace efficiency;
- Collaborate closely with key stakeholders to optimize overall business performance and health;
- Recommend improvements that align with business goals.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a (BS/MS) in quantitative fields such as statistics, engineering, economics, etc;
- Proficient in SQL, Python, or R, with expertise in at least one of the following areas: advanced measurement (e.g., causal inference or systems with complex trade-offs), modeling, or optimization;
- To succeed in this role, you must be proactive, self-driven, and impact-oriented;
- Ability to work with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in data science or a bachelor’s degree majoring in a quantitative field, such as statistics, is preferred;
- Experience in e-commerce or online marketplaces is strongly preferred.
