Data Science Intern - London Summer 2026

At Nasdaq, you’ll kick off your career in a place where learning and collaboration are part of every day. In this role, you’ll join our European Market Data team, working closely with data to help support our European markets. 

We are looking for a data science intern that likes not only working with numbers, structuring big data sets, but also want to tell the story of the data, helping us further improve our processes. To thrive in our team, we believe you are structured, analytical and like to solve problems. 

You don’t need to have all the answers right now — we’ll help you build your skills, confidence, and network to grow into the role and beyond. 

What You’ll Do: 

• Work directly with large sets of data to structure and find solutions. 

• Learn how to collaborate with teammates across different functions and regions  

• Bring your ideas and curiosity to problem-solving and project work. 

• Take part in a global internship community, learning session and mentorship to accelerate your growth. 

What We’re Looking For: 

• A university student graduating 2027 in engineering, data science, computer science, or a related field. 

• Experience with programming (Python, SQL) and working with large datasets. 

• Eagerness to learn, ask questions, and contribute to a team environment. 

• Strong communication and organizational skills. 

• Interest in financial markets, trading, or fintech. 

Nice-to-Have: 

• Any previous relevant internship, project, or coursework. 

• Experience working in multicultural or team-based settings (e.g., student clubs, volunteering). 

• Experience with automation using Machine Learning or AI-tools.

This role is at our London office, close to a bus stop for easy access and with restaurants and shopping centers close by.
