Job Description

As a Data Engineer, you'll play a key role in building and maintaining data solutions that enhance customer care operations, improve user satisfaction, and deliver innovative service solutions. In your day-to-day, you will:

• Convert business and product requirements into data models while working closely with key stakeholders 

• Develop complex data workflows using Python and Airflow 

• Design, maintain, and optimize the Wix Customer Care Data Warehouse 

• Build automation processes to support and scale our data pipelines 

• Collaborate with product teams to identify and deliver impactful, product-embedded data solutions that enrich user experiences 

• Leverage new AI products, such as Cursor, to enhance data engineering processes and drive innovation

Qualifications

• 3+ years of coding experience in SQL and Python 

• Experience creating and maintaining Airflow pipelines 

• Strong understanding of business goals and ability to collaborate effectively to push the organization forward 

• Eagerness to learn new technologies, including AI-driven solutions 

• Fluent in English, with excellent communication and presentation skills

We are Wix’s Data Engineering Guild. We’re responsible for building robust and scalable data pipelines feeding our organizational data warehouse (DWH). We deal with a tremendous variety of data sources, coming from internal and external sources. We play a central role in providing accurate data to support BAs, data scientists, product managers, and additional data consumers by creating and maintaining a modern data infrastructure that anyone at Wix can use, including a data warehouse and tools for reporting, alerting, and A/B testing.  We’re one of the most challenging and satisfying environments at Wix, with plenty of growth and learning opportunities.
