The 3D Metals organization in Barcelona (Sant Cugat del Vallès) is part of the Writing Systems R&D team, focused on advancing additive manufacturing technologies. Process control is critical to achieving yield objectives in 3D metal printing. This requires identifying, monitoring, and controlling key process parameters to ensure quality and efficiency. The team leverages data-driven approaches to optimize production and integrate telemetry systems for real-time insights.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop scripts and visualization methods to monitor 3D metals process critical parameters.
• Report data to the 3D metals process engineer and the Writing Systems team.
• Create visual reports, enable basic data reporting infrastructure, and link with the Telemetry and Data Team.
• Help develop tests to identify critical process parameters.

Requirements

• Currently in the last year of a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Data engineering, Mathematics, Telecommunications, Computer Science, or Physics
• Ability to conduct hypothesis tests, correlation tests, regression analysis, and modeling.
• Ability in statistical analysis using Python/R.
• Experience with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau) or frameworks like Dash or Bokeh.
• Experience with SQL (MySQL/PostgreSQL), NoSQL (MongoDB, Cassandra, HBase, Redis) and GitHUB.
• Fluent English.
• Content design, presentation, and graphic design skills.
• Proactivity and strong teamwork skills.
