Jump Trading is seeking a Data Analyst to support critical post-trade and reconciliation processes within the corporate finance function. As part of the financial analytics and solutions team, you’ll work closely with developers and finance professionals to analyze proprietary database systems, maintain data accuracy, and refine workflows that ensure operational efficiency. This high-impact role gives you the unique opportunity to contribute directly to the backend operations supporting Jump’s cutting-edge crypto trading business. What You'll Do: 

• Analyze Proprietary Systems: Develop a deep understanding of the crypto landscape and underlying data that powers Jump's crypto trading business. 
• Support Post-Trade Operations: Work with internal teams to build, test, and monitor reconciliation procedures to ensure the accuracy and efficiency of post-trade systems. 
• Investigate Data Issues: Conduct deep-dive investigations into reconciliation results and data discrepancies, proactively resolving integrity problems to minimize risk. 
• Collaborate with Finance Teams: Partner with finance professionals to manage data workflows, monitor accuracy, and maintain ongoing improvements to proprietary tools and processes. 
• Drive Operational Enhancements: Refine workflows, drive automation, and enhance reporting processes to improve oversight and efficiency across finance-related operations. 
• Additional duties as required or needed. 

Skills You'll Need: 

• Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, data science, or a related technical field. 
• Professional Experience: At least 3 years in a technical, data-driven role; audit experience or exposure to post-trade reconciliations is a plus. 
• Technical Skills: Proficiency with Python for data loading and processing, basic Linux skills for troubleshooting (e.g., reviewing logs, checking configurations), and familiarity with analytics tools like Pandas or R. 
• Experience with Databases: Demonstrated ability to work with proprietary databases or tools such as MySQL and Splunk to extract and analyze data effectively. 
• Personal Traits: Meticulous attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, a proactive work ethic, and the ability to thrive in fast-paced and demanding environments.
