In this role, you will:
- Draft, review, and negotiate complex commercial and licensing agreements, primarily with enterprise customers and strategic partners.
- Collaborate closely with technical and enterprise teams to align legal strategies and business objectives.
- Develop and implement processes for efficient and scalable contracting operations.
- Be a swiss army knife: pitch in for anything needed in the legal department, even if it’s unfamiliar.
- This is an in-person role based in Palo Alto, CA that requires up to 25% travel
Minimum qualifications:
- 10+ years of legal experience–ideally through a combination of experience at innovative technology companies and top-tier law firms (startup experience a plus).
- Must have in-house experience as commercial counsel.
- Have a strong sense of ownership, be inquisitive and enthusiastic about technology, enjoy being continually challenged, and can demonstrate sound judgment in navigating complex and ambiguous situations.
- Have a lot of gas in the tank!
- Have a JD and license or qualification to practice in CA.
- Based in the SF Bay Area, or willing to relocate here.
Annual Salary Range
- $200,000 - $314,000 USD
