Responsibilities:

  • Independently manage workflows, ensuring consistency and operational efficiency.

  • Perform critical quality control checks, including audits, to maintain high standards within operational processes.

  • Collaborate closely with engineering and product teams to improve software and applications that facilitate internal operations and product delivery.

  • Develop and implement operational strategies to optimize efficiencies and support growth across departments.

  • Assist in developing and leading projects across cross-functional teams that align with company objectives.

  • Train and mentor team members in the workflow.

  • Take ownership of ad hoc processes and projects, driving efficiency and quality.

  • Consistently evaluate business operations to identify opportunities for improvement.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of relevant experience.

  • Bachelor’s degree (preferably in Biological Sciences, Healthcare Administration, or a related field), or equivalent experience.

  • Thrives in high-ambiguity environments and adapts quickly to change.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Highly skilled in prioritizing and managing workloads across daily, weekly, and monthly timelines.

  • Demonstrates meticulous attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy and quality.

  • Proficient in handling Protected Health Information (PHI) in compliance with privacy and security regulations.

  • Experience managing medium to high-complexity projects.

  • Exhibits a high level of precision and attention to detail in all aspects of work.

  • Previous experience in an FDA-regulated industry with strong knowledge of compliance requirements.

  • Strong critical thinking, interpersonal, and problem-solving abilities.

  • A drive to make a meaningful impact in a fast-paced, energetic work environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proficient knowledge of generative AI.

CHI: $55,000-$65,000

The expected salary range above is applicable if the role is performed from Illinois and may vary for other locations (California, Colorado, New York). Actual salary may vary based on qualifications and experience. Tempus offers a full range of benefits, which may include incentive compensation, restricted stock units, medical and other benefits depending on the position.
